PERTH COURSES, ENROLMENT FORM and NEWS

I swear I have never had such an entertaining and thought-provoking course at MALA.  But linguist Daniel Midgley will step it up next week as he tackles profanity!

Be prepared to discuss language your grandmother might   have disapproved of at next week's lecture….but don't blame Daniel.

In a prescient demonstration of the democratic process, Daniel invited his audience to vote on their preference for next week's topic!

“Current issues in Language”  Daniel Midgley 10:15am – 11:15am Room 2 Friday 20th May.

PERTH LUNCH

THURSDAY 26th MAY

at the Bentley Pines Training Restaurant [TAFE]

Haymans Road, Bentley – just down the road from where we have the M.A.L.A. lectures.

We hope that you will come along not only for a delicious meal but also to meet and enjoy the company of other M.A.L.A. members.  The time is 11.30am for a 12 noon start and the cost is $30 for a three-course lunch with a wide choice for all courses.

Tickets have been selling very well with 50% already sold so please don’t wait too long to buy a ticket.  Tickets are on sale before and between lectures at the M.A.L.A. desk. If you are only attending the Semester B lectures you are welcome to call in to purchase a ticket or ask a friend to do this for you.  And hopefully there will still be tickets available when Semester 1 Part B lectures commence on the 6 May.  (As we don’t have access to EFTPOS, please bring cash with you to pay for your ticket.)
